Launched in 2023, Federal (aka Feds), is a Turkish independent entertainment company that specializes in film production&sales, with a focus on international co-productions. The company co-financed and produced 'Ayşegül On Tuesdays' a USA-Turkiye co-production by the SXSW Grand Jury Prize nominee Amy Omar. As well as, financing and producing the original play 'Women Look Yellow In The Dark' which opened at Istanbul State Theatre's Tekel Stage as a sell-out performance. The story of a Turkish immigrant seeking a connection in a lonely midwest USA life who feels misled by the version of the American Dream that was sold to her.

WOMEN LOOK YELLOW IN THE DARK (2023)

Loosely inspired by Charlotte Perkins Gilman's famous "The Yellow Wallpaper," the play centers around a young woman who is being gaslighted by her father to think she's some kind of an anomaly. Delicately balancing between reality and illusion, the performance challenges us to question the narratives that seek to define and confine ourselves within the society, the family and our restless minds.
